Research Associate, SEI

Mr. Manish Shrestha is a Research Associate at the Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI). He has several years of experience working in the field of water resources management and planning, hydrological modeling, climate change adaptation, land use planning, GIS application and disaster management. Before joining the SEI, he worked as a Senior Research Associate at Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. He also worked with Interdisciplinary Research Center for River Basin Environment, University of Yamanashi (ICRE-UY) in Japan and as engineer in Nepal before joining AIT. He has an experience working with a team from Nepal, Thailand, Myanmar, Cambodia, Japan and Afghanistan. He has published several peer reviewed international journals reports. Manish holds a masters degree in Water Engineering and Management from the Asian Institute of Technology.
