Dr. Nguyen Hanh Quyen

Dr. Nguyen Hanh Quyen's background is geography, focused on the application of remote sensing and GIS technology in natural resource management and sustainable development. She completed her Ph.D. in environmental management under a joint program between Hanoi University of Natural Science and Free University of Brussels, Belgium.

Prior joining ADPC, she was a GIS Associate working at the Environmental Operation Centre of ADB in the GMS - Core Environment Program, where her main task is applying GIS in mainstreaming environmental into planning, and data management for the GMS - Online Environment Portal.

Dr. Nguyen has 20 years of experience working for Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology and she also worked as a GIS and remote sensing consultant for many international forestry projects funded by WB, ADB, USAID in the GMS region.
